I just finished totalling the marks for your Geography common tests and.. we're down to 3 failures from the initial 5! The highest in class is.... 33/35 and the person that did soooo well is... Li Cheng!! Congratulations girl!! Not too far behind in 2nd place is Khairuddin with 32/35! Great job dude! And in 3rd place is Khairol with 31.5/35! Well done! A few other people who have shown a wonderful progress are: 1) Martin 2) Qhairul 3) Xenia 4) Farah 5) Lu Yi Kudos to you people for studying so hard, I was so happy marking the paper and looking at your answers. I remember as I walked around, I saw Martin draw funny shapes and his name in the boxes for the Cliff formation. Boy, was I glad when I found he finally erased it and tried to do the paper seriously :) Another thing which amused me was how Kerraline entered the classroom at 8.21am and still managed to pass the paper... I guess that only meant our little girl studied real hard! :) On the whole, I felt the class has a significant improvement except 2-3 of you whose grades are falling and that worries me. Work hard class, you have the last mile to run for this year!! :) :) :) |

Finally a bit of time to update. I love the music on this blog! Thanks Li Cheng for inserting this sound clip. I still hate the tag board though, it's so tough to tag and I need to use a different id each time, gosh. Anyway, Common Test week is coming up and I don't know about you guys but man, I'm worried. I look at the number of textbooks in the class and I'm thinking to myself, why don't my kids need their books to study?! I see important notes lying around and when they are my Geography notes, I just feel like killing myself... and whoever owns those notes. Mental note: I shall not nag, I shall not nag... STUDY HARD KIDS!!! We gotta go up together next year! On a more serious note, all the best my dears, I have faith in each and every one of you. You all can do it. Just put your minds to it and most of all, believe in yourselves and do your best. Many of you are trying hard and I can see that when I look at your work, it make me feel so proud of you and your determination. As you prepare for your common tests, do remember to keep healthy and fit- Drink more water and eat more fruits please! Now, why do I sound like someone's mother..? |

Oh, hello everyone! For those of you who were not around today, a few of us started painting our classroom. Finally the horrible drawings on the wall are gone and now our classroom is taking on a pretty shade of pink and blue. At the moment it looks like a tornado has hit it cos the furniture is in a mess and there's lots and lots of newspapers hanging around. Whilst in class today, Khairol asked why our class blog is not being updated and though Li Cheng is the one who started it, I guess we cannot expect her to keep doing the updating so I asked her for the password and decided that I would write a bit here from time to time! As some of you probably know I've been racking my brains to think of a url to start a blog but somehow I'm finding it real tough. So for now, I will write here! Of cos it will be regarding class matters as this is essentially a class blog. I had fun today with you guys painting the classroom and just looking at the few of you, I suddenly realised how much I miss you all! I don't think I can ask for a better combination of students in my class. Each of you are so unique and when you all come together, it's just hilarious. Haha, as much as school re-opening means work and more work, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again. Thanks to Li Cheng, Wen Yi, Vivienne, Martin, Sab, Kerraline, Khairol, Xenia & Ka Kiet for helping out today! I hope I haven't been absent minded and left out anyone. Will post pictures soon, left the camera in school :P We'll continue on Thursday morning at 9am and hopefully we can finish by then! I will send out smses tomorrow and those of you who are free, do come and help out :) See you all soon! Ms Oh |
